Ability to disable email checking

At present, if you complete the email configuration settings of a Vocera Server, it starts to check for email up to every 90 seconds (the maximum period allowed).

However, a lot of customers set up email using a fake alias just for the purpose of generating email, such as Alerts and Reports, from the Vocera servers. This alias does not belong to a real email account and therefore fails when Vocera attempts to check for email of that alias.

These failed entries in a log file of a relatively small system are a nuisance when trying to resolve other issues.

It would be good if there was the ability to disable checking for mail, whilst still allowing Vocera to generate outbound email.
