Password Reset Self-Service

Provide self-service password reset methods for end-users, alleviating a burden on Vocera Administrators. This feature may become extremely important with the reset

Use cases:
  • User console.
  • Staff Assignment.
  • Report Server.
  • Client (smartphone).
May need new group permissions, such as:
  • Allow user to access console
  • Allow user client access
  • Allow user to request reset at console, or via e-mail

Other Considerations
  • User must have an e-mail address in their contact
  • User must have permission to require a password reset
  • Password resets may be sent via e-mail, especially useful for client access.
