Report for detailing Users who are not doing Lab workflows correctly or missing steps to confirm documentation or Badge Scan.

EDGE Analytics Report was created in 2023 that documented Users who are not completing the Lab specimen collection process. JIRA (EDGE-3952) was created for this report but never implemented or released in EDGE software version. This enhancement is to revisit this Report. Customer (Valley Health NJ) is asking to have this report be a part of EDGE Analytics reporting. Sample of report that was created in 2023 from EDGE-3952 is attached.

    Information provided by Customer for the requested Vocera EDGE Analytics Report


    Thank you Ragan, the description of the column headers is helpful, but I feel there are more steps that we would need to include to confirm they are being performed.

    We would need a record of each step:

    1.Selecting Begin Collection on the Lab Orders Screen

    1. Which orders are selected on the Select Orders Screen

    2. Selecting Continue on the Select Orders Screen

    3. Selecting Print on the Collect and Print Labels Screen

    4. Scan Label Printer (would there be a way to list which label printer was scanned?)

    5. Selecting Confirm on the Draw Summary Screen

    6. Scanning employee ID badge to confirm collection on the Lab Orders Screen

    7. Selecting “Yes, Done” when asked Done with this patient? To successfully complete specimen collection.

    These are a lot of asks, but the most important are the last 3 steps.
