Premise: Patients that are admitted to inpatient units through the ED typically respond to patient satisfaction and HCAHPS surveys with lower scores. Users would like to be able to generate a list of patients based on the origin of the admission- the ED in this case- to designate this group as a priority for rounding and to provide an opportunity for any needed service recovery. .
