Details:  Patients usually have a much shorter stay in the ED, and the LOS showing in days in VCE doens't help rounders prioritize where a round needs to be done.

When rounders are looking for which patients to round on in VCE, they would like the LOS displayed in minutes in the ED.  This would allow the rounders to round at the appropriate time during the stay.
