When Urgent alarms are initiated the alarm will continue to sound until accepted or silenced by the User. There have been questions regrading the possibility of limiting the number of times the Urgent Alarm will ring to two or three times on the Vocera Collaboration Suite. When you have a large number of staff responding to a Code or Urgent alarm, the continuous ringing causes issues and is distracting to staff that should be focusing on the Patient and not to accepting or silencing the Urgent Alarm ringing continuously. I was informed that this is Hard Coded in the Voera App, but if there could be a Patch or Hotfix to reduce the rings of the Urgent Alarms.
