Call log reports always have partial first and last weeks

Whenever I run Call report (such as the System Call Volume Trend report by week) the first and last weeks are always partial making them useless.  For example, if I run the System Call Volume Report Trend report by week for the past 4 weeks the first and last weeks in the report are normally much lower than weeks 2 & 3.  That is most likely because the report is representing them as partial weeks.  I can prove this by re-running the report for the past 6 weeks and week 4 is then normal (i.e. not lower).  Can you please tweak any such reports so that the first and last weeks in the report are useful (i.e. not partial)?
