It would be convienient to have either (or both) configurable template permissions or narrow down the membership selection by catagory/groups.

A configurable template would allow any job title to have a default permissions and groups assignment.
Add in Doctor Bob Smith, put in pager number, select Hospitalist template, and done.

Or

When adding a new user -
Have a short list screen for basic groups - CNA, RN, MD, Pharma, Housekeeping,...etc
Once you select the basic group you get a narrowed list for groups (by location or supervisor)
Then get a final list for any further permissions or accessory groups. 

My groups list is starting to get long and we're not even finished getting Vocera to all our units.
