I think the ability to assign a badge to a department for only it's members to use would be beneficial. In our organization units are assigned a certain amount of badges to be shared by the employess of that unit.  Unfortunately the badges frequently tend to wander off to other units, either accidentally or on purpose, leaving the unit short of badges to use.  Badge-to-department assignments would help greatly to alleviate this issue.
