I would like to see a change in the way the "department" filters work currently in Vocera Report server. For example look at the Department selection in the Rec Results by Department. If you were approached by the ICU and they wanted to see their results you can't choose just ICU or you will only get the people who ONLY work in ICU. We have many people that work in multiple departments (I have noticed an up rise in this since the economy has taken the turns that it has - more people picking up hours in other areas) so you have to search through the whole list and find every instance of ICU so you have the following:
ICU + P3
Float Pool + ICU + MCC
P1 + P4 + 3 West + ER + ICU
Let’s just say it’s a mess! If you are trying to locate a particular person in a report it makes it difficult because you are not positive if they are in any other departments. I suggest changing it so there is no more "+". I honestly don’t care if they work in more than one place ( by doing what you’re doing now you are creating a ton of "departments" with 1 or 2 people in them). If I choose ICU and you work in both ICU & P3 i want you included in that report. If i ran the same report for P3 that person would also be included in that report. It would make trying to locate the report for a department so much cleaner.
