Option to clear the Vocera - Not Connected" Android banner"

"...one annoying thing I have discovered is the way the Vocera Not Connected icon is always in my Android notifications bar, I wish I could clear it."
Could it be cleared or at least be an option in the VMP Admin module to allow users to clear it by swiping left?
