Submitting on behalf of Fort Memorial Hospital: Currently users only have the ability to ‘hide’ conversations on their application. However, the other party does not know it is hidden, and once they reply to it will pull back the entire conversation. Providers want past messages to be removable once they have acted on and completed them.

Similar to how text messages work, I should have the ability to delete messages on my end without affecting what the other person can view. And those messages are still retained in the database for any reference or retention.

It is worth noting that someone can ‘leave’ a group conversation currently in VMP/VCS, which is similar capability to what I am requesting. However they cannot ‘leave’ a 1-on-1 conversation.
