When receiving a VCS message, the recipient receives a push notification showing the name of the sender. There would be significant value if it was possible to send additional detail within this notification as you'd receive for an email (such as subject and/or lines of the message). This would enable staff to respond quicker to codes and emergencies, rather than having them fumble around to unlock a device and open the message.

Whilst confidentiality may be a consideration, perhaps a message option within VCS/Web Console that allows staff to choose whether they wish to send enhanced detail would be viable. There would also be value in this being configurable via the API so alerts from integrated systems (such as nurse call) can also show detail.
