Android VCS App should show number of messages similar to iOS VCS App

The IOS and Android VCS applications should have the same funcitonality including showing the number of unread messages.

    We are working on an enhancement that will show an indictor on the VCS icon on the Android Home screen. What gets displayed in terms of a number or a simple red dot is controlled by the Android OS so the implementation cannot be the same as with iOS.
