As intallations and networks get more complicated it may be necessary to have different badge settings for different sites.  For example for security reasons you may want to have different WLAN encryption keys at each location. 

Currently the Vocera system supports one badge profile for each badge type.  That is all B3000s will have all the same setting in the Badge.Property file for all sites connected to the Vocera server.

Another advantage of allowing multiple profiles is being able to test different badge settings on a small group or location before rolling out site wide such as:
   - New firmware
   - Debug settings
