I’m experiencing a very high failure of the battery clip and the faceplate. I realize that this is occurring because they are being dropped. All of our badges have the protective cover on them although they are providing less than adequate protection. The protective cover, as designed, does not cover the battery therefore when the badge hits the floor the battery is ejected from its mount and in the process, breaking the clip off and separating the faceplate from the main body of the badge. I understand it was design intent for easy battery install/removal but I believe the protection of the badge supercedes the easy battery access. Please re-engineer your protective sleeve so that the battery is covered.
