An OT (Occupational Therapist) approached me with a creative idea to create a Vocera watch (so I am passing along).  As in their position they work closely with patients and they find the badge gets in the way.  She also asked if there could be a different clip made so the badge doesn’t dangle.  The lanyards aren't an option for them from a staff safety perspective.
