Granular Microphone Sensitivity Control
More granular microphone sensitivty control is required to resolve utterance recognition issues. Specifically, using the B3000 badge on firmware 172 with group mode disabled an inherently noisy environment. Our immediate solution is to apply electrical tape over the lower (2) microphones on the badge, this reduces the area of the voice cone to detect only at very close range. There is not a problem with B2000 badges.
The only other option is a headset accessory, which disabled all onboard mics.
