In Platform 6 Web console in the My Workflow there is the ability to go into Assignment History to troubleshoot clinical events. Since the assignment information is retrievable, why not create a report in Analytics that looks at departments with date/time criteria to create a Shift Assignment Report. This has been requested by customers who are able to get such information from their nurse call vendor if assignments are done there. Some hospitals have a policy to retain staff assignments for anywhere from 1-5 years. They are still handwriting and putting into logbooks that are kept in manager offices.
