Improvements to Vocera Email Alerts

An alert is generated when the Stby cluster disconnects, but no alert is sent when the Stby reconnects and completes the remote-restore.  This is more important, knowing the Stby has completely recovered means the admin does not have to log into any servers to know the Stby has recovered.

Additionally, we receive a notification each time the gateway connect or disconnect, each time the VRS dataload or backup execute, etc.  With so many emails almost none of them get read – akin to alarm fatigue in a clinical setting.  How about an email is generated only when something does not come back?  If a VSTG goes down and comes back with in 2 minutes, why generate any emails at all?  This type of health history should be in a report, not email.
