Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory

We are unable to receive emails into Vocera because POP & IMAP are disabled in our Exchange 2007 environment.

Is there a way to integrate the Vocera users with Active Directory so that the devices could be tied to the user’s mailbox directly? It seems that some of the enterprise sized functionality is not yet fully developed in the Vocera software. Is there any new development aimed toward that market in the near future?
