Due to security concerns in the Emergency Department and the unit where inmates are taken for care ( a hospital unit that is setup like a mini jail ). Nurses in these areas only have their first name and last initial on the ID badges. If the Vocera badge has first and last name the security of our our nurses could be compromised. There have been past incidents of former patients stalking nurses.

If one of the alternate names could have a radio button to use as the display name we can avoid this issue.
