Group member hierarchy
It appears that Vocera treats users and nested groups equally when calls are placed to a group. I would like direct group members to be contacted before indirect group members (nested groups). This would allow more control over call flow.

The round-robin call scheduling option has to take all possible call targets in to account in order to be fair. An alternative design to accomplish the goal is to set forwarding to the subsequent groups instead of nesting.
